Unified Source Theory (UST) proposes a cyclic, two-channel, and self-regulating cosmology that differs fundamentally from the classical Big Bang model. According to UST, the universe does not originate from a singular beginning but continues its existence through internal balance and protection mechanisms.
UST states that the universe has no specific shape, boundary, or “inside-outside” distinction. The universe simply exists. To prevent dispersion within this infinity and to sustain its existence, the system has developed an internal balance and protection mechanism.
This mechanism consists of two main components:
UST considers spacetime as a 17-dimensional manifold. This number is derived from five independent mathematical and physical sources:
The coefficient a₂ = 1/17 in the Seeley-DeWitt heat kernel expansion is a natural geometric property of the 17-dimensional manifold. This filter suppresses high-energy quantum fluctuations and excessive vacuum energy during the renormalization group (RG) flow, transferring them to the macroscopic scale in a controlled manner.
The universe consists of two channels: Channel Q (active) and Channel C (passive). The flow of energy and information between these channels is managed through a bidirectional process, regulated by the 1/17 filter.
UST models the universe through four fundamental layers:
The 0 Element represents the most fundamental, prebaryonic state of the universe. It has atomic number zero and contains no protons, neutrons, or electrons. It possesses the potential to transform into any form of matter under appropriate energy and pressure conditions.
This makes the 0 Element interpretable as the state preceding Dark Matter. Dark Matter can be seen as the “frozen” form of the 0 Element that generates gravitational effects.
In classical cosmology, the Big Bang is considered a singular beginning. In UST, this event is defined as Channel Inversion — the reversal between Channel Q and Channel C. This reversal occurs deterministically when the system reaches its information and energy capacity, resetting the universe and initiating a new cycle.
Unified Source Theory (UST) describes the universe as a boundless, shapeless, cyclic, and self-regulating system. Its existence is sustained through internal filtering (1/17) and protection mechanisms (Kasa 0 + Channel C). This framework offers a consistent cosmological model both ontologically and epistemologically.

| Advantage | Description |
|---|---|
| Two-Channel Structure | Clearly separates the universe into active and passive channels, allowing a more systematic modeling of energy and information flow. |
| Kasa Model (Kasa 0) | Provides a comprehensive 4-layer scaling system from micro to macro scales, which is absent in most other models. |
| 0 Element | Defines the most fundamental prebaryonic state of the universe and links the origin of Dark Matter and Dark Energy to this basic state. |
| Self-Protection Mechanism | Proposes that the universe sustains itself through internal filtering and protection systems. |
| Information Conservation (ΔS = 0) | Offers a natural solution to the Black Hole Information Paradox by preserving information in Channel C. |
| 17-Dimensional Manifold + 1/17 Filter | Provides a mathematical foundation for RG flow and vacuum energy suppression. |
| Deterministic Channel Inversion | Replaces the random Big Bang with a deterministic process triggered by system capacity. |
| Mathematical Simplicity | Offers a cleaner framework compared to the high complexity of String Theory. |
Note: UST presents a more comprehensive and multi-layered cosmological framework. The combination of the Kasa Model, 0 Element, and self-protection mechanism distinguishes UST from both cyclic universe models and other quantum gravity approaches.
